Reviews about Tom's Pizza & Sandwich Shop

- 5 / 5By Josh TrubowI grew up eating Tom's pizza so they are the benchmark that I compare all other pizza places to. The staff are friendly and have been there forever. The Italian sub is one of my favorites, and the chicken fingers and fries are also great. When it comes to pizza, I could eat Tom's pizza every day of the week. The toppings get baked on perfectly, onion or Pepperoni are my go to options most of the time. If you're in Newton area, there's no better pizza than Tom's.January 10, 2017

- 2 / 5By c d sangurimaTried the place for first time in part because of generally positive reviews on Google. However, my experience with 3 items left me with a very modest impression. I tried a Gyro, a chicken parmesan sub and a Buffalo chicken pizza. It seems over priced for the mediocre quality of the items above. The pizza was burdened with way too much cheap hot sauce which resulted in a very wet and salty rather than flavorful pizza. The gyro meat was a dry and the yogurt sauce so timid and stale that it made me wonder if it was even an attempt at Tzatziki sauce, not a hint of cucumber. The pita was a poor imitation. Regarding the sub, the chicken and sauce were passable but not the bread, it was lacking all-around. The service was prompt and friendly and I may give them another chance.August 11, 2016
- 1 / 5By Poring LittlefootOrdered a pepperoni slice.
There's a small glass heat lamp case on the right of the register, they gave me one of them dry two day old looking slices.
I thought it couldn't be that bad and ate it that was a mistake.
Go here if you like dry two day old pizza.July 15, 2016
